Small Business Connexion University



SBC is getting ready to launch SBC University (SBC U) in early September.

SBC U is an online educational resource for SBC members that include a collect of E-books, E-learning videos, and Online Courses.

The E-book section of the SBC U includes a collection of hundreds of downloadable e-books to any smart device, laptop or desktop computers.  Book subjects include Business, Social Media, Personal Development, Health and Wellness among other subject and titles. The e-book collection also include best-selling books such as “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill, “How to Win Friends & Influence People” by Dale Carnegie, “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen R. Covey and several others.   The E-books are categorized by subject and may be searched by title and/or author. In addition, members are able to provide a book review and rate each book.

The E-learning section includes short videos in various subjects; Finance & Money, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Motivational, Leadership, Business Planning, and many other subjects.  The videos are organized by category, Most Popular Videos, Recent Videos, and Featured Videos.

The Online Course section includes a comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS).  A LMS is a software application for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of e-learning educational courses or training programs. The LMS used for SBC U is a similar system use by Universities and many online educational providers. The LMS provides members with short and long courses.  The courses include modules, lessons, quizzes/test, and some even offer a certificate of completion once a passing grade has been obtained. Members are able to register for courses and take them from the comfort of their home or office at their own pace.

The SBC University is not an accredited University and does not provide any accredited degree programs. SBC U is provided to SBC members as a collection of online educational resourceful information to help the Entrepreneur and small business owner grow and develop. Small Business Connexion believes that “Knowledge is Power” and therefore has invested a great deal of time, resources, and funds to provide SBC members with a comprehensive resource of educational information.

Pablo Valle

Pablo F. Valle is a Program Manager in the Planning, Engineering, and Construction Department at The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County. He manages diverse transportation engineering projects ranging from between $500,000 to $25 million in various engineering areas for the Houston metropolitan region.

Pablo is also an entrepreneur at heart. He is the Founder and President of Small Business Connexion, a Professional Business Organization helping businesses Learn, Grow, and Connect. Pablo also founded a local Houston Professional Business Network (the Latino Professional Business Network) that began with fifteen people and grew to over 4,200 members in less than three years. He has served in numerous leadership roles including; Treasurer and President of the American Society of Civil Engineers – Student Chapter, Board Member of the Chamber of Latino Entrepreneurs, President, Membership Co-Chair, and Secretary/Treasurer of the Texas Institute of Transportation Engineers Houston District. Among his peers, Pablo is known as the “Godfather of Networking”.

Pablo received his Bachelor of Engineering from the City College of New York and his Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from The City University of New York – Graduate Center. He is the recipient of numerous awards including; The Minority Research Careers for Minority Scholar, the Hispanic Serving Institute Scholarship, and the City College of New York President’s award for outstanding leadership.

Pablo is married to his High School sweetheart Tanya N. Valle and together they have three boys; Justin Paul, Jeremy Timothy, and Jayden Christian Valle.
